BRESCIA

Dating back to the Roman period, Brescia lies at the heart of the Po Valley, between Milan and Venice. Brescia is a town of art and culture (recognized as a world heritage site by the UNESCO) with an excellent quality of life located in one of the most important industrial and productive regions in Italy. Brescia is one of the top industrial districts in Europe: its economic system is known for being historically open to foreign trades and the city positions itself in second place after Milan for its value of exports. Brescia’s industries have established themselves in all of the most important fields of the manufacturing sector: i.e. mechanic, metalworking, textile, automotive, rubber and plastics, biotech, electronic and agri-food.
